| Thunder Bay is the place to be. With its blue skies, long days of sunlight, moderate weather, clean air, beside the largest fresh water lake in the world - it is indeed the place to be. I love sitting outside at 11 o'clock on a warm summer evening and it is still light outside, hiking along the various trails with Lake Superior in view or going to camp at Upsala and canoeing on a lake that has a mirror reflection of trees in its quiet environment as you listen to the birds sing. The people are another reason to be in Thunder Bay - that pioneering spirit is evident everywhere, the residents who keep working to improve their circumstances, weathering all storms and still coming up strong and friendly. Yes, Thunder Bay is "Superior by Nature".
